Rental Yield Calculator
See your gross and net rental yield based on rent, maintenance and property tax.
Rental yield is a useful comparison metric, not a guarantee of return. Actual returns depend on occupancy, tenant turnover, repairs, and local rental demand, which can vary from year to year.
How this calculator works
What's the difference between gross and net yield?
Gross yield is annual rent divided by purchase price, before any expenses. Net yield subtracts maintenance, property tax and other annual costs first, giving a more realistic picture of your actual return.
What's a good rental yield in India?
Residential rental yields in most major Indian cities typically range from 2% to 4%, which is lower than in many other countries. Commercial property tends to yield higher, often 6-10%, but carries different risks.
